To raise teachers who respect democratic and ethical values, are sensitive to environmental, national and global issues, are literate in terms of science and technology, are aware of the responsibility of educating new generations, can renew themselves according to the requirements of the age, are open to change and development, perceive science as a way of life, have self-confidence, follow and apply international accumulations, and to lead in this field. In addition, to raise professional educators needed by our country in the field of education and to further advance the quality of the curriculum with the contributions of national and international groups, communities, and researchers by developing national and international cooperation in this field.
Our Goals
To raise our teacher candidates; loyal to ATATÜRK's principles and revolutions, carrying the national, moral, human, spiritual and cultural values of the Turkish nation, feeling the honor and happiness of being Turkish, prioritizing the benefit of society over personal interest, filled with love for family, country and nation, aware of their duties and responsibilities towards the Republic of Turkey and turning them into behavior, possessing the power of free and scientific thought, a broad world view, respectful of human rights, developed in a balanced and healthy way in terms of body, mind, spirit, morality and emotion, capable of responding to national development and needs in line with their interests and talents, and also providing their own livelihood and happiness, possessing the knowledge, skills, behavior and general culture of a profession, as citizens.
To ensure that the Turkish State becomes a constructive, creative and distinguished partner of contemporary civilization by implementing programs that will contribute to and accelerate its economic, social and cultural development, with the aim of increasing its prosperity and happiness as an indivisible whole with its country and nation.
